Role: Power BI and Systems Analyst
Location: Kent
Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 per annum
Are you an experienced BI & Systems Analyst based in Kent, looking to play a key role in shaping how data drives performance across a growing fire and security organisation? Technical Resources are recruiting for a BI & Systems Analyst to support a multi-site business by developing business intelligence solutions, optimising systems, and enabling teams through data-led insight and automation.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting and insight requirements

Develop and optimise Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reports

Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies

Map workflows and document business processes across the organisation

Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across multiple data sources

Support and optimise CRM systems, with a focus on SimPro

Translate business requirements into functional system processes

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

Provide system training and user support to internal teams

Maintain documentation, including process maps, user guides, and gap analyses

Assist with day-to-day administration and support of business systems
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in BI, business analysis, or a similar technical role

Strong Power BI expertise, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query
-
Solid SQL skills for querying and analysis

Experience working with CRM systems (SimPro experience highly desirable)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Knowledge of data governance, security, and process improvement
-
Microsoft certification (PL-300 or similar)

Flexibility to travel to multiple sites when required
