Fire Service Engineer | £37,000 | North East
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Service Engineer to carry out the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and minor works on fire detection systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm systems to BS5839 standards
- Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Complete small works, repairs and upgrades where required
- Accurately complete service reports and compliance documentation
- Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts
- Participate in an on-call rota as required
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems
- Knowledge of systems such as Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley, C-Tec or similar
- Good understanding of fire safety regulations and standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong customer-facing and problem-solving skills
