Job Title: CAD Technician
Location: Fully Remote
Rate: £26,000 to 34,000 + 10% bonus, 23 days AL increasing annually, 5%/5% pension, life assurance, private medical cover
Technical Resources are recruiting for a leading fire detection provider who are designing, building and rolling out a bespoke Fire Detection system specifically designed for critical infrastructure applications. Due to growth, they are looking for a CAD Technician to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the companies CAD template database.
- Preparing project documentation and plans.
- Schedule control and follow-up.
- Quality verification.
- Project document management and coordination.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards, uses easy-to-understand user interface text, and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product, specifications, and the documentation requirements.
- Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities, maintain and improve formatting, layout, use of CAD drawings.
- Manage proper naming conventions, revision control, and file storing procedures.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- 5 years experience with 2D AutoCAD.
- Experience working in the Fire Detection industry.
- Knowledge of BS5839.
- 25 Mbps broadband speed.
