Job Title: CCTV Installation Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £220 p/day
Technical Resources is in search of a skilled CCTV Installation Engineer in Birmingham. This role involves working closely with a lead engineer, installing routers, setting up configurations for PTZ cameras, ensuring connectivity, and preparing equipment for CCTV monitoring. This project offers the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure with significant technological integration.
Description of Contract/Programme of Works:
- Setting up CCTV Solar Towers, including router configuration and firmware upgrades.
- Camera configuration settings preparation for deployment.
- Installing routers and setting up configurations for PTZ cameras, ensuring SIM connectivity.
- Preparation and commissioning of equipment for CCTV monitoring, checking connectivity and configurations.
- Collaborating with a lead engineer to understand system specifics.
Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in building and setting up CCTV Towers.
- Knowledgeable in router configurations, firmware upgrades, and camera settings.
- Experience with PTZ camera setups and ensuring connectivity is essential.
Required Documentation/Certifications/Tooling:
- Contractors must provide full PPE, including boots and high visibility clothing.
- Non-impact drills, screwdrivers, T10/T20 Torx drivers, and a general tool kit are required for this role.
