Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £165 p/day
Technical Resources is seeking a skilled Data Cabling Engineer in London with expertise in the installation and termination of Excel Cat6 cables. This role requires precise workmanship and an in-depth understanding of network cabling standards to ensure high-quality data transmission infrastructure.
Description of Contract/Programme of Works:
- Installation of Excel Cat6 cables in various commercial environments.
- Precise termination of Cat6 cables to panels and modules, ensuring optimal network performance.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience with the installation and termination of Excel Cat6 cabling.
- Familiarity with structured cabling systems and associated hardware.
Required Documentation/Certifications/Tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card is essential to demonstrate adherence to safety and quality standards in the construction and cabling industry.
- Contractors are required to supply their own standard hand tools suitable for cabling tasks.
- Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times on site.
