Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Dundee
Rate: £165 p/day
We are currently seeking a skilled Data Cabling Engineer to join a team in Dundee. This role involves installing, terminating, and testing Cat5e cables under the supervision of a Lead Engineer. This position is ideal for someone with precise technical skills in cabling and a strong understanding of network infrastructure.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation, termination, and testing of Cat5e cables.
- Assisting the Lead Engineer with various tasks as required.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in terminating and testing Cat5e cables.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card is essential.
- Hand tools and terminating tools.
- PPE and any other required equipment must be provided by the contractor.
- Additional certifications like IPAF, 17th Edition, etc. are beneficial.
