Design Lead | £40,000-£50,000 | Remote
We are looking for an experienced Design Lead to support the delivery of electronic and physical security system designs within data centre environments. Working closely with BIM/CAD Technicians and technical teams, you will lead design coordination, review client requirements, and ensure high-quality, compliant design outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of security system design packages.
- Coordinate design activities across disciplines.
- Review client documentation and make informed design decisions.
- Identify and resolve design issues, providing practical solutions.
- Produce base “spots and dots” layouts.
- Conduct ironmongery reviews and design validations.
- Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Apply a strong understanding of design matrices and key technical design elements.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electronic and physical security systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit and BIM environments.
