Service and Installation Engineer – Kent, Surrey and Sussex
Our client is a small, but well-established security system company who are looking to expand and now require an additional full time, permanent electronic security system engineer. Their engineers are involved in installing and service maintenance of security systems, including intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, CCTV and more.
You must have a Full UK Driving Licence and be willing to travel in and around the South East of England area daily (mainly Kent, Surrey and Sussex) and into Central London (approximately once a month). You will also be on a 24-hour call rota, which is a 3-week rotation.
Salary dependent on experience – £35,000 – £45,000
20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Working hours 8am – 5pm (40 hour week) – Overtime available
Tools, laptop, van & phone all provided.
What we are looking for in an engineer:
· To provide excellent customer service that exceeds the expectations of customers, and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· To service or install the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials
· Ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly
· Correctly complete engineer work and service reports, handover certificates/SSAIB certificates or checklist as appropriate.
· Ability to lift and climb ladders.
