Job Title: Fire Alarm / Life Safety Commissioning Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £35,000 to £45,000 + 20 days Holiday + Company Car

Technical Resources is on the lookout for a skilled Fire Alarm / Life Safety Commissioning Engineer. This role involves significant travel within London and the Home Counties, requiring a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to clients’ complete satisfaction.


  • Complete required works on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional behaviour and appearance that positively reflects the Company.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience and sound knowledge in commissioning Life Safety systems, including Fire Alarm, Voice Alarm, Emergency Evacuation, Disabled Alarm, and Disabled Refuge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and responsibly, preventing injury, damage, or loss.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills, with a knack for managing time efficiently and prioritising tasks independently.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of accurate and complete documentation for each job, adhering to company and client standards.
  • CSCS Card, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are ideal but not essential.
  • A clean driving licence and high motivation levels.
