Job Title: Fire alarm service engineer
Location: Bournemouth
Rate: £230 p/day
Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of a variety of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites. You’ll be joining a respected fire and security specialist delivering high-quality service and maintenance support to their clients.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service, maintenance, and reactive repairs of fire alarm systems to BS5839 standards.
- Fault-finding and rectification on addressable and conventional fire alarm panels.
- Complete all service documentation accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Liaise with clients on-site, providing professional and efficient service at all times.
- Work closely with other engineers to ensure service level agreements are met.
Experience required:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience servicing fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of addressable and conventional systems (e.g., Advanced, C-Tec, Kentec, Gent, Morley, or similar).
- Experience working in commercial, residential, or industrial environments.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card.
- Hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Full PPE and own vehicle.
