Role: Project Engineer

Location: Helsinki, Finland

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum + Travel Costs + Sustenance Payment

Shift Pattern: 10 days on, 4 days off (with 4 full days at home: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday)

We are actively seeking an experienced Project Engineer for an enterprise-scale project in Helsinki, Finland, working for a global company alongside another worldwide entity. This pivotal role serves as the right hand to the senior project manager, ensuring the seamless execution of projects while maintaining high standards of health and safety, installation progress and quality, and commissioning. Material management also forms a crucial part of the role’s responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the senior project manager in all aspects of project execution, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to schedules and standards.
  • Oversee and manage all health and safety aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor installation progress, ensuring quality standards are met. Oversee the commissioning process to ensure systems are operational and meet project specifications.
  • Efficiently manage materials, ensuring availability and timely distribution to meet project needs.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their expectations are met and maintain high standards of communication and service throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Previous experience in Fire & Security or Data Centre projects is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and support large-scale projects, with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in health and safety management practices and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Understanding of technical aspects related to Fire & Security or Data Centre installations and commissioning.
  • Experience working on international projects and collaborating with global teams is highly desirable.
  • Candidates must possess the necessary certifications relevant to Fire & Security or Data Centre environments.
