Role: Fire & Security Engineer
Location: Islington
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer with strong skills in Fire Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of systems across commercial and residential sites. You will ensure all works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance and respond to reactive callouts.
- Complete accurate documentation and service reports in line with company procedures.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry standards at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identify potential upgrade opportunities or system improvements.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience working with Fire, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
- Competent in fault-finding, installation, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of BS5839 and relevant industry standards.
