Role: Fire & Security Project Manager
Location: East Midlands
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager, primarily focused on Fire systems, looking for a role in the East Midlands where you’ll manage multiple projects and play a key part in business performance? As a Fire & Security Project Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of fire and security projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring compliance, safety, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Managing up to 10 Fire & Security projects simultaneously, ranging from £10k to £250k
- Coordinating subcontractors and raising purchase orders for site works
- Overseeing project delivery to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Managing procurement, installation and removal of equipment
- Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers to meet project requirements
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including site safety records
- Developing project specifications, work plans and regular progress reports
- Approving invoices and maintaining accurate project databases
- Conducting site surveys and managing procurement of labour, materials and equipment
- Working closely with the Operations Manager and Director to control costs and maintain profitability
- Monitoring project timelines and progress against schedules
- Maintaining up-to-date site records and operative diaries
- Ensuring compliance with method statements and risk assessments
- Assisting with testing and commissioning activities
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience as a Fire & Security Project Manager, with a strong focus on Fire systems
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Strong understanding of Fire & Security industry standards and compliance
- Ability to manage subcontractors and internal teams effectively
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience
