Job Title: Security Service Engineer

Location: North West England

Rate: £220 p/day

We are currently seeking a Security Service Engineer to undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electronic security systems in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing a range of security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and optionally Fire Alarms.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Conducting planned and reactive maintenance activities on electronic security systems.
  • Working with systems including: Intruder Alarms: Galaxy, Texacom, Menvier, ATS (beneficial)
  • CCTV: IP, Analogue
  • Access Control: Paxton
  • Fire Alarms: Conventional and Addressable (bonus, not essential)
  • Weekly submission of daily job sheets for timesheet authorisation.

Experience required:

  • Candidates must possess significant proficiency in electronic security systems.
  • Strong experience in servicing CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarms is preferred.
  • Fire alarm experience is beneficial.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • No specific qualifications required, but Kings vetting needs to be completed before the engineer begins.
  • ECS card is beneficial.
  • Kings vetted.
  • Hand tools, power tools, steps, and ladders.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Android device.
