Job Title: Gent Commissioning Engineer
Location: Slough
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Gent Commissioning Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity in Slough? As a Gent Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, configuring, and testing Gent fire systems to bring the installation to full operational readiness. You will be working for a respected fire systems provider, supporting detailed commissioning works on a live project.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out Cause & Effect works on Gent fire systems
- Map loops and complete software downloads to the panel
- Write, configure, and upload software to the Gent system
- Perform testing, configuratio,n and system setup
- Conduct fault-finding where required
Experience required:
- Extensive experience working as a Gent Commissioning Engineer
- Strong background in commissioning, cause & effect programming, and system configuration
- Ability to fault-find and resolve system issues
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS Card
- Honeywell Gent / Avigilon Certification
- Standard commissioning tools and PPE
