Job Title: Gent Commissioning Engineer

Location: London

Rate: £350 p/day

Technical Resources are on the lookout for an experienced Gent Commissioning Engineer for a long-term project based in London. This role involves supervising the installation and commissioning of Fire Detection systems across various sites, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency are maintained throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Overseeing the installation and commissioning of Fire Detection systems.
  • Managing and supervising subcontractors on site.
  • Ensuring site Health & Safety, managing RAMS, and overseeing necessary paperwork.
  • Conducting thorough commissioning and testing of installed systems.
  • Completing all relevant commissioning documentation accurately and on time.

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Fire commissioning.
  • Essential to have completed Gent certification and possess an active Gent number.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • Hand tools, Power tools, Steps, and Ladders for installation work.
  • Laptop for commissioning software and documentation.
  • Full PPE including boots, trousers, and glasses for on-site safety.
  • SSSTS certification is beneficial.
  • ECS / CSCS card is essential.
