Security Installation Engineer
Location: Oslo, NorwayDepartment: InstallationSalary: 700,000 NOK (€60 plus Euro DOE + overtime)Employment Type: Permanent
The Role
We are working with a leading international security systems provider expanding their operations in Norway.
This is an opportunity for an Installation Engineer to join a growing team delivering high-end electronic security projects across commercial, data centre and high-security environments.
You will be responsible for installing and delivering security systems from project start through to completion, working closely with project managers and wider delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of electronic security systems across live projects
- Working alongside Project Managers to plan and deliver installations
- Reviewing project specifications and ensuring correct system setup
- Completing installation, testing and handover documentation
- Identifying and escalating any technical or delivery issues
- Supporting client handover and basic system training
- Ensuring work is completed to required standards and timelines
Systems & Experience
Experience working with one or more of the following:
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Intruder Systems
- Integrated Security Platforms
Experience within high-spec environments (e.g. data centres, commercial or critical infrastructure) is beneficial.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience installing electronic security systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Strong understanding of installation processes and site delivery
- Full driving licence
- Eligible for security clearance
- Fluent English required (Norwegian beneficial but not essential depending on experience)
