Job Title: Installation Engineer
Location: Darlington
Rate: £210 p/day
We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer with experience in alarm systems to join our project at a live mental health unit in Darlington. This role requires handling sensitive environments and direct interaction with patients, necessitating an Enhanced DBS Clearance.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Assist with extensive cable installation throughout the building.
- Install and configure nurse call systems, leveraging expertise in either intruder or fire alarm systems.
- Work under the guidance of on-site direct labour to efficiently push the project forward.
Experience required:
- Extensive installation experience, particularly in alarm systems within sensitive environments.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS Card is essential.
- Enhanced DBS Clearance is mandatory.
- Preferred certifications include IPAF, 17th Edition, NVQ Level, Lenel, City & Guilds.
- Must possess basic hand tools and power tools.
- Required to wear high visibility clothing and boots on site.
