Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Middlesbrough
Rate: £250 – £300 p/day
Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for contract work in Middlesbrough? As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems within a fixed facility. This role focuses on maintaining critical building services and fire suppression systems, ensuring all works are completed safely and documented correctly.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Maintenance of mechanical systems within a fixed facility
- Working on fire suppression systems
- HVAC maintenance and fault resolution
- Sprinkler systems and associated pipework
- Identifying and addressing mechanical faults
- Ensuring all documentation is completed in line with equipment and compliance requirements
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mechanical maintenance role
- Strong experience working with HVAC, sprinkler systems and pipework
- Experience working within fixed facilities or commercial environments
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS check
- CCNSG card
- Own hand tools
- Full PPE
