Project Manager – West Midlands
A leading provider of automatic fire suppression systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major commercial projects across the West Midlands, with occasional travel to Reading and Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and progressive organisation delivering high-value projects from £1.5 million upwards. The successful individual will manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality standards within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
The Project Manager will:

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end

Develop comprehensive project plans, clearly defining scope, budget and objectives

Oversee major commercial projects valued at £1.5 million+

Attend site approximately 2–3 times per week to monitor progress and ensure compliance

Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle

Identify, monitor and resolve issues to maintain programme and performance targets

Produce detailed progress and completion reports

Build and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships
The role is based in the West Midlands and requires the successful candidate to be within commuting distance of the Worcester or Tipton offices, with travel as required to project locations including Reading and Leeds.
Requirements
-
Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a Project Management role

Experience delivering commercial construction projects (fire sprinkler industry experience advantageous but not essential)

Proven site experience with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Analytical and solution-focused approach
-
Full, clean driving licence
-
Valid CSCS card
-
SSSTS, SMSTS and/or NVQ Level 3+ desirable
