Security Service Engineer
Location: Oslo, NorwayDepartment: Service & MaintenanceSalary: 750,000 – 800,000 NOK (DOE) + overtime (~€70k+)Employment Type: Permanent
The Role
We are working with a leading international security systems provider expanding their service division in Norway.
This is an opportunity for a Service Engineer to join a growing team responsible for maintaining and supporting electronic security systems across a range of high-profile environments including commercial, data centre and critical infrastructure sites.
You will play a key role in ensuring systems remain fully operational, compliant and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Reactive fault finding and repair of security systems
- Planned preventative maintenance across client sites
- Working across CCTV, access control, intruder and integrated systems
- Supporting system upgrades and minor works where required
- Providing updates to service management on ongoing works
- Participating in on-call rota and out-of-hours support
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where needed
Systems & Experience
Experience working with one or more of the following:
- CCTV (including IP systems)
- Access Control
- Intruder Alarms
- Door Entry Systems
- Networked / integrated security platforms
Experience working in high-spec or critical environments is beneficial.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining electronic security systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full driving licence
- Eligible for security clearance
- Fluent English required (Norwegian beneficial depending on experience)
