Smoke Vent Engineer | Up to £55,000 (DOE) | London and home counties | Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:30–17:00 | Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain smoke ventilation systems (AOVs, control panels, pressure systems)
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Conduct inspections and testing to BS EN 12101 standards
- Complete compliance documentation and liaise with clients
- Support commissioning and handover of new installations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience servicing smoke ventilation or fire safety systems
- Knowledge of BS 7346, BS EN 12101, and Approved Document B
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Full UK driving licence
(Electrical/mechanical qualifications and BMS knowledge desirable)
