Technical Support – Electronic Fire & Security
Whiteley, Hampshire
£24,000-£26,000
Full-Time : Monday – Friday
Founded in 1970 as a family-run business, Our client has been providing extensive expertise in fire safety and security solutions for over half a century. They maintain an unrivalled knowledge of security technology, enabling them to deliver comprehensive security solutions.
Due to the demand and continued success in the market we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Technical & Engineering team and support the team as a Technical Support.
Responsibilities:
Technical capabilities
– ARC Signalling checks and corrective actioning
– Conduct Remote Maintenances
– Conduct firmware upgrades
– Receive Supplier deliveries, log and sort for stock replenishment.
– Being available to drop urgent parts to site to support engineers. (driving licence required)
– Weekly ARC Signalling checks and corrective actioning.
Stock control/Storeman duties.
– Sort and label returns, maintain weekly return process
– Stock control and replenishment ordering for stores and van stock.
– General stockroom housekeeping
– Waste management/ safe storage / collections and returns
Requirements:
– Good computer literacy.
– Good communication Skills.
– Good Problem-Solving Skills.
– Able to use own initiative.
– Experience in the fire and security industry essential, this could be mitigated with good technical knowledge from an FM background and willingness to train on system in own time if needed.
