Trainee/Junior CCTV Engineer – Covering : Dorset/Bournemouth/Southampton
Monday to Friday
Salary : £25,000-£30,000
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior CCTV Engineer located in the Hampshire, Dorset area.
As a Junior CCTV Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing CCTV systems.
You will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will also troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems.
Qualifications, desired but not essential
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in CCTV installation and maintenance
- Experience in CCTV system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of different types of CCTV cameras, lenses, cables, and connectors
- Familiarity with network protocols and IP-based CCTV systems
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
