Integrated Security Consultants Ltd (ISC) has won a contract to provide concierge services for Electricity House, a new development in Bristol city centre. It is the first time that ISC has worked in the south west and with Building Management company, Gordon and Co.
Electricity House is in a conservation area. Once retail and offices, developer Crest Nicholson has turned it into luxury apartments over six floors. Commercial units are planned for the ground floor. The first two floors opened in October 2015 and the project is due to complete during April 2016.
A team of around five ISC staff will share the concierge role on a shift basis, providing a 24 hour service to residents. Duties are varied and will evolve as the building becomes fully occupied, but include greeting and providing assistance to residents as required, so the building is secure and safe at all times; receiving mail, answering phones and emails, monitoring the underground car park and repairing or reporting any damage.

This is a natural extension of the front of house and security role and requires outstanding levels of customer service.
