Cardiff business park install

by Mark Rowe

In Cardiff, Trident Park has had its security modernised with new CCTV. The Cardiff-based family business Concept Fire & Security installed at the business park on an instruction from the managing agents, Workmans.

The installation to combat burglary and vandalism saw the automation of a sliding gate and the fabrication and installation of an 8m sliding gate, all powered by FAAC motors. Also fitted was a 16 camera CCTV system which includes static and pan and tilt cameras by Hikvision, all connected to an Xralis Adpro FastTrace digital recorder and transmitter connected to an ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre).

Due to the distances involved, the system uses CAT6 wiring provided by the local distributor DVS. For out of hours access visitors can speak with an alarm receiving centre (ARC) via two Videx GSM intercom units. The system now provides estate-wide surveillance for tenants.

Concept, based on the Canal Business Park, report customers include Accor Hotels, McDonalds Restaurants and Gregory’s Transport. Visit – www.conceptfiresec.com.
