Fraud awareness booklet

by Mark Rowe

The City of London Crime Prevention Association (CoLCPA) has launched its latest security booklet: Fraud Awareness.

Produced with the Economic Crime Department of the City of London Police, it provides advice on avoiding the most prevalent crime types. To order copies of this booklet, contact the CoLCPA.

Commander Steve Head, City of London Police ACPO National Coordinator for Economic Crime says: “Fraud has a detrimental impact on people from all walks of life. Far from being the victimless crime that it is often portrayed as, the local impact from rapidly emerging national and trans-national trends on our communities and business is only now coming to be fully realised.”

Don Randall says: “Our intention in producing this booklet is to provide vital information about the nature of fraud – its many types and manifestations – and how to protect oneself against it. Please share this information with colleagues, friends and relatives. The greater awareness of how and where fraud can occur, the more we can all to to minimise its threat.”
