Case Studies

MSc appeal

by Mark Rowe

Marcus Mills has embarked on an MSc in security management through the University of Portsmouth. Like other masters students he has to do research. Can you help? By completing a short questionnaire that will take less than 10 minutes and can be found at the link below. He writes:

The title of my dissertation is: “A critical analysis of security managers in the modern era” .

Some of the aims of the research are to:

1) Obtain a current picture-snaphot of security managers, as well as identifying what skills are perceived to be important.

2) Identifying previous experience/backgrounds of practitioners and if this has changed from previous research.

3) Identifying what qualifications practitioners have or are studying towards.

There is nothing that would identify any individual nor organisation and the results are all anonymous.

If you are willing to participate I would be very grateful. I intend to provide a summary of these findings which will be available in this publication.
