Servest joins CBI

by Mark Rowe

The FM (facilities management) service provider Servest Group has joined the business lobbying and networking group the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). The CBI has over 240,000 companies as members, ranging from family owned start-ups to FTSE 100 firms.

Rob Legge, Servest’s CEO UK and Europe, said: “We joined the CBI because we want to be consulted on and influence government policies that have a direct impact on our business and the facilities management sector more widely.”

And Richard Tunnicliffe, Director, CBI East of England, said: “We are delighted to welcome Servest into CBI membership. They come on board at a time when we are seeing real positive signs of economic recovery in most sectors of the economy. Servest’s knowledge and expertise in the FM industry will add clout to the CBI’s work in a number of important areas. Servest will in turn be able to participate in our networks and have an influence on the sectors they operate in.”
