The facilities management (FM) contractor OCS has been awarded more contracts by packaging producer Smurfit Kappa to service sites in Norwich and Weston-super-Mare for three years from this month.
The wins come on the back of a three-year contract that began in January 2013 to service Smurfit Kappa Northampton.
The FM firm will deliver factory day cleaning, office cleaning, cleaning, window cleaning, pest control and manned guarding at the weekend to the Jupiter Road and Fishergate sites in Norwich, and factory cleaning and high-level cleaning to the site at Weston-super-Mare.
OCS says that it aims to deliver efficiency savings to Smurfit Kappa across its UK sites. David Marshall, Business Development Manager at OCS Group UK Limited, said: โWeโre working in partnership with Smurfit Kappa UK to review service delivery to the whole portfolio in the UK. As a total facilities management provider, we are striving to help the company to reduce its costs by having just one supplier.โ
