At Gloucester Rugby Club, Venture Security has become the official provider of matchday and event security services. The security firm is now supplying all security, stewarding and crowd management services for the Kingsholm Stadium – the home of Gloucester Rugby – for matches and wider events on site over the year. This includes managing entry control, crowd flow, guest assistance and incident response. Up to 40 team members are in action for larger events.
The contract was awarded after a competitive tender process. Venture already has a presence across sporting, leisure and hospitality venues, such as Newbury Racecourse, Salisbury Racecourse; and Stonehenge and The Roman Baths, featured in Professional Security Magazine in 2022.
