Honour for Cahalane

by Mark Rowe

Mike Cahalane did not know it, but when he went to the November business group meeting of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC), he was going to leave a different man.

That was because the ASC made him an honorary life president. He is pictured left with ASC chairman Allan Hildage making a presentation before lunch. Mike was one of seven independent security consultants who founded the ASC, in 1991.

Speakers at the meeting included Jonathan Schulten, the security manager for Broadgate Estates, the London-based property management company; and Indi Sall, technical director of the engineering installer NG Bailey.

The ASC’s next event is the annual dinner at the House of Lords on November 28. Visit http://www.securityconsultants.org.uk.
