Access Package

by msecadm4921

Mitrefinch, a provider of time and attendance management solutions, has launched its latest security package Access Control V 4.02.

Developed in-house, the product introduces new functionality which offers greater flexibility and ease of use, Mitrefinch say. The increased array of modules allow different levels of control to be granted to, for example, security guards, facilities managers, or system administrators. The product can be tailored to prohibit or allow selected people access at various hours. Any system specification can be accommodated including turnstiles, pedestrian gates, revolving doors and vehicle barriers. Operators can generate an audit log of all transactions providing a record of where access was granted or denied.

Door instructions

Door control instructions are carried out in ?real time? and doors can be grouped together for rapid control should a common command need to be given. This allows, for example, all exterior doors to be locked/unlocked by the click of a single button. The product is available for use with touch screen technology, to operate in conditions where mouse or keyboard control is not practical. Users can tailor the alarm functions to compliment the company?s operational procedures including low, medium and high level priority alarms and can auto-email the alarm to other people within the company. The system features an alarm log which can be printed or e-mailed. Visitor and temporary badges can be printed on demand and recycled after use. A ?valid to? date can be added to ensure that any badges not returned cannot be used to gain access after this date. In the event of a query the badge history function can be accessed to determine who had which badge at what time. The product can work with digital security cameras and intercoms (both audio and visual) including Mitrefinch?s IRIS digital CCTV system. It can also be integrated with other Mitrefinch products such as the Fire Evacuation System and Time and Attendance package.

What they say

Andrew Simpson, Managing Director of Mitrefinch says: “We have developed this system drawing on the suggestions of our implementers, customers and sister company in Ireland. Access Control V 4.02 is a package which has been designed to fulfil the needs of a wide range of businesses. Whether manufacturing, construction or office based, Access Control V 4.02 is a vital component of any business? security provision.?
