The London-based guarding contractor Magenta Security has hailed its latest SIA-ACS audit score of 115, placing them among the top 5pc private security companies in the UK.

The ACS (approved contractor scheme) is run by the guarding sector regulator the Security Industry Authority. Magenta adds that it was the first manned guarding company in Europe to be awarded certification to ISO 14001: 2004 (the international environmental management system standard recognised by the UK and other governments) as well as being the first to become carbon-neutral.
The company reports that it has won a number of national and international contracts. Recently, Chubb Emergency Response, a provider of security and fire safety solutions partnered with Magenta Security to provide manned guarding services.
