Corporate security and asset protection issues are covered at an ASIS training event.
Workplace violence, CCTV, crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED), risk assessment, terror, perimeter protection – you name it, European private security issues are featured on the ASIS International assets protection course in Brussels from June 6 to 9. Among UK speakers are Peter Horsburgh of ARC Training International; Andrew Buchanan, Security Strategy Co-ordinator, British American Tobacco; Prof Martin Gill of Perpetuity; Bruce Dawson-Moray, Site Security Manager, BP Sunbury; and Chris Hughes, Corporate Services Advisor at Jersey-based security and risk consultants Drum Cussac.
European dimension
There’s a European dimension, too, with practitioners presenting a number of case studies, the organisers report. A workshop looking at future issues for European asset protection will wind up the event.
