Electrical distributors Newey & Eyre report that they are developing business support seminars for contractor customers.
The free seminars, sponsored by Newlec Electrical, are designed to deliver information and training.
The first seminar took place in Nottingham recently at the Trent Bridge cricket ground and a variety of topics were covered including the impact of Part P legislation, employment law and better cash and finance management for contractors. Topics were determined by customer feedback earlier in the year. Speakers included representatives from the NICEIC, NatWest Bank and Greymatters Solutions.
What they say
Jeremy Harris, marketing manager for Newey & Eyre said: "Our first seminar had a fantastic response with over 70 delegates registering. We carried out a survey following the event to obtain feedback that will help us to plan for future events next year and the response to our first seminar was extremely favourable with customers stating that they found the support invaluable, would definitely be interested in attending more seminars and appreciated the chance to network with branch staff, industry representatives and their peers. We aim to take the seminars across the UK into 2006 to offer ongoing advice to valued customers in every area of their business."
