Guide Security Services operate a control centre on the (Secured by Design) Walker Park in Blackburn.

Mick Gains, a former police officer and Director of Guide, says: ?The pressures placed upon the police service to tackle the problems organised and opportunist crime today is a challenge they cannot face alone but need to secure every possible means at their disposal to ensure they make best use of their resources with quality actionable information.? He adds that police across the UK visit their control room, which serves the commercial, industrial and public sectors, and what Mick Gains calls ?high net worth individuals?.
