E-commerce Offering

by msecadm4921

Checkpoint Systems has launched Checkpoint Online.

The shrink management products firm reports that it has introduced the e-commerce system to provide customers with a tool for order entry.

Checkpoint reports that its online facility lets customers re-order small or large quantities of stock as and when required. Graham Noble, Customer Services Manager for Checkpoint Systems, said: “The system is being used successfully by our customers in the USA as well as countries throughout Europe and we have received some great feedback about the additional benefits that it brings to businesses.” To operate the site, customers are provided with a unique log-in, which gives secure access to their own area. A catalogue contains previously ordered items with agreed costs and customers enter the quantity required. From here items go into production and an invoice is automatically generated. The system also allows the customer to track the order through the supply chain, from production to distribution, providing an expected delivery date.
