A lady from Aberdeen won a holiday abroad courtesy of Kasp – the brand in security from Carl Kammerling International.
From September to November 2007, Kasp ran an end-user promotion offering consumers the opportunity to win a holiday of a lifetime to Cape Town where Kasp’s TV commercial was filmed. The ad sees a man suspended 200ft above a road with nothing but two lengths of wire cable held together with only a Kasp brass padlock.
This consumer offer – designed to consolidate brand recognition and increase pull through sales for retailers – received thousands of entries. The winner; Kristina Blackett.
The competition prize was: return flights for two to Cape Town, seven nights at the four star Protea Victoria Junction Hotel, breakfasts, £500 spending money, car hire for the duration of the trip and travel insurance.
Kristina said: “I couldn’t believe it when I heard I’d won; I’ve never won anything before! The holiday was amazing and we absolutely loved Cape Town. Thank you Kasp!”
Since the Kasp launched in January 2006 its locks are now sold in over 15 countries.
