Use of IP technology to provide “open circuit” security and surveillance solutions was the theme of a talk at IFSEC by Greg Gregoriou, Senior Sales Manager at the UK branch of JVC Professional Europe.
Greg Gregoriou said: "This seminar outlined how IP security systems provide benefits to installers and users beyond those offered with traditional analogue solutions. Currently analogue solutions are well established in the market with a lot of confidence in set up and operation. With IP security systems still relatively new, some products still need to be accepted into the market, and a certain amount of skill and expertise is needed to install and manage them. However, we are seeing an increasing demand for IP solutions.”
