Point Of Sale CCTV

by msecadm4921

K3, a UK’s provider of Microsoft Dynamics has developed a solution for retailers to monitor internal shrinkage using CCTV technology linked to the point of sale.

Internal shrinkage is a major problem for the retail sector, the firm reports. Using CCTV technology to monitor cashier activity can significantly reduce these losses, it is claimed. K3’s Point of Sale monitoring system analyses cashier activity to identify patterns of behaviour that could indicate potential staff fraud. When linked to the CCTV, video footage of each transaction, together with details of the transaction, provides irrefutable proof of what has been sold, by who, to whom at what price and when. Reports are then generated, providing retailers with powerful tools to eliminate fraud, collusion, sweethearting, refund abuse and cash theft.
