Somerset Dinner

Somerset West Businesses Against Crime has announced details of the 2011 SWBAC Awards event. The 2011 event will take place on October 20, at the Long Room at the Somerset County Cricket Club….

Participating businesses will be eligible for awards for the best day time economy (retailers), night time economy (licensed premises) and those individuals within the business community who go the extra mile in keeping their communities safe.
These awards will cover the Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Taunton districts with awards for each area in the three categories. There will also be an award for the police officer who the partnership has felt delivered outstanding service to the business community in the past year.
SWBAC Scheme Co-ordinator, Andy Sharman says: “We are proud to announce this year’s membership awards dinner which promises to be an evening to remember. We are really looking forward to rewarding those who contribute so much in helping to keep our communities safe for all and to bringing all the districts we cover together to celebrate these successes.”
The black tie event includes a three course meal celebrating the finest local and seasonal cuisine. Tickets cost £30 and are available from SWBAC.
