Support For Charity

by Msecadm4921

Esoteric Ltd, a counter surveillance and specialist counterespionage consultancy has pledged its support to the Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation hospital in Tanzania (CCBRT) via the Vodafone Foundation.

The Vodafone Foundation wants to help CCBRT to expand their programme to help 31,000 women by 2016, and to make a significant contribution to eradicating fistula in Tanzania. It is estimated that US$12million will be required to reach this goal by 2015.

โ€œAs a company, we are committed to assisting worthy causes so when our associates at Vodafone mentioned CCBRT, we jumped at the chance to be involved and it is with great delight that we can announce CCBRT as our chosen international charity for the year 2011-12โ€ said Emma Shaw, Managing Director at Esoteric Ltd. โ€œThe charity does an amazing job and it gives us much pleasure to help contribute to its continued success and wish them every luck in achieving their goals.โ€ To learn more about the CCBRT and Vodafone Foundation and to find out you can donate, visit http://www.vodafone.com/content/index/about/foundation/mobiles_for_good/ccbrt.html

In Tanzania 3,000 women every year develop fistula after prolonged childbirth without access to medical attention. Fistula leaves women incontinent, at risk of severe infection and excluded from their communities. The CCBRT disability hospital in Tanzania has been using Vodafone M-Pesa, a handset to handset money transfer system, to transfer funds to women in rural areas suffering with fistula, allowing them to travel to gain access to the treatment they need.
