Croma Shawley is presenting a new range of wireless CCTV solutions incorporating the new Croma RVS (Remote Video System) at ifsec.
A wireless RVS system utilising a 5.8 Ghz radio network has already been sold to a council based in the South of England which is moving from a conventional system to a wireless system. This move is to reduce running costs and give the council greater flexibility, allowing cameras to be moved to anywhere within the coverage of the radio network, the product firm reports.
Croma RVS also works with data transfer methods such as ADSL, Broadband, GPRS, 3G and Radio which will be actively demonstrated on the Croma Shawley stand (K130) using remote sites.
What they say
Sales Director, Andy Proudfoot, said: "Our new range of wireless solutions will help to consolidate the position of Croma Shawley as a brand favoured by the public sector."
Croma Shawley will also be exhibiting its range of pan and tilt heads including the "EARL" plus its range of camera housings. The pan & tilt range covers units suitable for light commercial surveillance up to heavy duty units suitable for border surveillance in adverse conditions, it is claimed. The company adds that it is able to tailor their products to meet the requirements of the customer precisely, it is claimed. The export market now accounts for over a third of Croma Shawley sales.
Also on show will be the "KING", a fully integrated pan and tilt head with a contemporary and vandal resistant design, according to the firm. The concept was first shown at ifsec last year.
Mel Elford, Technical Director said: "The KING has been developed to be a plug and play unit. From the response at show last year it should become the unit of choice for installers and end users alike for a wide range of applications."
