Payne Security has underlined its commitment to expanding its Card Solutions business area, which encompasses Securit World, idpro and Payne Security Card Manufacturing, with the appointment of Janet Taylor as Business Development Manager for the transport smart card sector.
Payne Security is in the fields of authentication technologies, document security and card solutions and has expertise within the ID and card industry to meet the needs of public services โ in the transport, ITSO smart ticketing, education, health and government sectors โ and private businesses alike.
Janet joins Payne Security after eight years at Novacroft, where she spent the last four years as Sales Director.
Her track record has been gained from more than 18 years in the transport, smart ticketing and public sectors, successfully winning contracts with Transport for London, the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC), the Scottish Improvement Service and concessionary transport cards with local authorities throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
Janet will focus on Payne Securityโs business in the smart ticketing transport market.
The appointment has been supported by additional investment into Payne Securityโs Banbury facility, increasing capability through the addition of state of the art manufacturing and fulfilment equipment and an increase in resources.ย In January 2013 Payne Security became a full member of ITSO to reinforce its commitment to transport smart ticketing. In her capacity as Business Development Manager at Payne Security, Janet will report to Simon Jones, General Manager of Card Solutions and work with the existing card solutions sales team.
