ASIS meet in Yorkshire

by Mark Rowe

The UK chapter of the international security management body ASIS usually meets in corporate London, but on April 9 it’s running a risk management seminar in Leeds. Like the London quarterly meetings, it’s starting after lunch and ending with drinks in the early evening – the idea being that you can get your day’s work or at least half a day’s done then go to the event.

Organiser Peter Speight reports that invited speakers include Gail Pinkerton (Workman Account Director at the multinational contractor Securitas), Neil Gammon (Head of Physical Security at BSKyB) and Dr Kevin Macnish (Teaching Fellow at University of Leeds).

The afternoon at the University of Leeds begins with registration from 1.30pm and chapter business at 2pm.
