Brand Protection date

The trade body the British Retail Consortium (BRC) is holding an inaugural Brand Protection Conference. The aim is to provide an update on managing risks in the food sector, protecting brand image and public perception and managing risk.

Speakers at the Vox conference centre outside Birmingham on Wednesday, October 5 include Andy Morling, head of the food crime unit at the regulator the Food Standards Agency. He joined the FSA in 2015 to set up the unit, in the wake of the horse meat scandal.

Speaking on the crisis response and corporate communications side are Jen Horsman and Julia Johnson, of Instinctif Partners; speaking on the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is John Kukoly.
