Corporate information security book

by Mark Rowe

Information Security – A Practical Guide is the latest book from the consultants and trainers IT Governance, available from its e-commerce websites.

Published by IT Governance Publishing (ITGP), Information Security – A Practical Guide by Tom Mooney provides an overview of basic information security practices that will enable security teams to better engage with their peers to address the threats facing the organisation as a whole.

As Mooney points out, corporate information security is often hindered by a lack of adequate communication between the security team and the rest of the organisation. Recognising the fact that information security affects the whole company and is a responsibility shared by all staff, the paperback covers what information security people need to know to develop and implement enterprise-wide information security processes. It provides advice on how to explain the basics of cyber security to management and others so that security risks can be appropriately addressed.

The guide is available from IT Governance in multiple formats (including softcover, Adobe eBook, Kindle and ePub).
