CSO meeting in London

The CSO Center for Leadership and Development under the US-based security management body ASIS brings together the most senior security professionals from the largest and most influential organisations.

It’s meeting, on October 4 and 5, in London. It aims to feature some of the issues facing CSOs now, tomorrow and into the future, informed by thinkers and practitioners in the fields of risk, resilience and security. Speakers and participants include

– Dr Jon Arthur – expert in applied risk reasoning systems for complex organisations;
– Roddy Drummond – Head of Security, Foreign and Commonwealth Office;
– Prof Martin Gill CSyP of Perpetuity, security academic, researcher and writer;
– Philip Ingram MBE – former senior UK intelligence officer, now media commentator and writer;
– Dr Samir Puri, lecturer, Kings College London, Department of War studies;
– Chris Smith – Global Security Risk Director, HSBC; and
– David Thorp – Executive Director, Business Continuity Institute.

The event will start with an informal networking reception on Wednesday, October 4, and conclude with a dinner in the Peers’ Dining Room in the Palace of Westminster.

While attendance is by invitation only, any individuals who meet, or who are close to meeting the eligibility criteria are invited to email the ASIS UK Chairman, David Clark CPP PCI PSP at [email protected] for an invite.
