The PDSC (the police-owned Police Digital Security Centre) with BSI (British Standards), have developed a three-part webinar series on the most common cyber risks; and what practical steps you need to take now.

Speakers will include David Mudd, Global Digital and Connected Product Certification Director, BSI; Simon Newman, pictured, Head of Cyber and Business Services, at the police body Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (PCPI) and Neil Sinclair, National Cyber Lead at the PDSC who was recognised in ‘The Progress 1000: London’s most influential people 2019’ for his work in technology and cyber.

Webinar 2: What is my digital risk?
Thursday, November 26; 10.00 – 11.00 GMT

Covid19 has seen many people working from home according to the UK official Office of National Statistics (ONS). Is your workforce home working, in the office or a mix of both? Do they bring their own device, use a VPN? If you answered yes to any, or all the questions then you have an attack surface that needs managing. Understanding your exposure needn’t be difficult and is the first step to risk mitigation, say the webinar organisers. This webinar will:

– Help you understand your digital footprint and the risks
– Explore how to carry out a pragmatic risk assessment process
– Help you understand what you do with this risk assessment?

You can register for this webinar at https://page.bsigroup.com/l/73472/2020-10-13/vpsgrb.

Webinar 3: Digital risk: what do I do about it?

What are the most practical things you can do to make your business a digitally resilient one? This webinar will:

– Provide simple and effective tools to secure your data / networks
– Talk you through the things you should do NOW to be as risk free as possible
– Discover your footprint on the dark web with Threat Status
– Discuss whether it is practical to include the 4 P’s in your business plan?
