Fraud forum day

The Yorkshire and Humber Fraud Forum (YHFF) annual conference is on November 20.

Among speakers at the YHFF annual conference in Leeds were Allan Crerar, Aviva Group Investigations; Chris Clements, a YHFF founder who heads Grant Thornton’s Forensic and Investigation Services team; David Robinson, Chief Executive of the charity People United Against Crime; Bill Robinson, Head of Economics, KPMG; and Ben Lowans, a Litigation and Dispute Resolution partner at the law firm Addleshaw Goddard LLP specialising in finance litigation and fraud. Ben is a Board Director of the YHFF and a Certified Fraud Examiner.

The event is at the Thackray Museum (Beckett Street, Leeds LS9 7LN) next to St. James’s Hospital.

Also speaking are David Clarke, a former detective chief superintendent who is a trustee director of the Fraud Advisory Panel; and Shawn Senior, who chairs the Local Authority Investigation Officers Group (LAIOG) Northern Region, is Fraud Manager at Rotherham
Metropolitan Borough Council.

You will receive an update on Action Fraud, learn about recent developments in fraud, including dial through fraud, denial of service attacks and cyber enablers, and hear about fraud from a victim’s perspective.
